Crafted from a lightweight microfiber upper, the SMX-6 V3 offers exceptional abrasion resistance while maintaining superb flexibility. The innovative front and back flexion zones, made from textile and soft Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU), enhance impact protection and allow for natural movement, making it ideal for aggressive riding styles.
The unique ankle brace protection system provides biomechanical support, safeguarding the ankle from hyper-torsion, hyper-extension, and hyper-flexion, while also protecting the Achilles tendon. The Alpinestars Lace-Lock System, made from advanced polymer resin, ensures a quick, precise, and secure fit.
For added protection, the boot features a TPU shifter zone on the lower medial side, a race-derived TPU shin plate for superior impact resistance, and strategically placed dual density TPU ankle protectors that shield key areas without compromising comfort.
The replaceable dual density TPU toe slider, with a screw-in assembly, offers comprehensive coverage while remaining flexible for walking ease. Additionally, the replaceable heel slider and external side heel slider are designed for optimal shock absorption and dissipation, promoting safe sliding in the event of an accident.
