Introducing the Magnum Shielding Upper Brake Line Kit, expertly engineered to meet Harley-Davidson's ABS requirements for alternative length brake lines. This premium kit features upper brake line banjo angles that ensure a perfect fit, while AN-3 connections facilitate straightforward installations. Each fitting is meticulously polished for a sleek finish, and the braid color and weave are designed to harmonize with all Magnum control cables and brake lines.
The brake line is encased in a crystal-clear PVC outer jacket, providing exceptional protection against scuffs and scratches on your motorcycle's paint or chrome, with a guarantee of no discoloration over time. Inside, the PTFE tubing is reinforced with Aramid Fiber, delivering superior performance by significantly minimizing line expansion.
For optimal performance, this kit must be used in conjunction with the Designer Series lower brake line kits, which are sold separately. Assembled in the U.S.A., these brake lines are crafted to follow the same routing path as original equipment (OE) lines. Please note that upper brake lines will require additional adapters for installation, available separately. Use part #1742-0658 for models from 2018 to 2021, or #1742-0458 for models from 2012 to 2017.
For motorcycles equipped with an anti-lock brake system (ABS), it is crucial to use ABS-specific brake line kits to maintain optimal braking performance. Magnum Shielding's upper brake line kits for these applications are clearly marked with "ABS" on the brake hose. Additionally, adapters are necessary for '11 and newer Softail models.
