Introducing the Rev3 Variable Rate Throttle Kit, a cutting-edge solution designed to enhance your off-road riding experience. The slim REV3™ throttle housing provides ample room for lever clearance and allows for precise adjustment of the throttle housing position. With an innovative reel changing system, you can easily customize the throttle rate to suit your personal preferences and varying riding conditions.
The kit includes five different reels, enabling you to achieve the perfect throttle response: opt for smaller reels for a slower throttle rate or larger reels for a quicker response. Additionally, the included cam reel offers a progressive throttle response favored by many riders. A durable cable boot effectively keeps dirt and dust at bay, ensuring reliable and smooth operation.
Installation is made simple with snap-together elbows and billet aluminum inline cable adjusters that facilitate easy adjustments. The upper section of the cables features a robust 6 mm housing for solid support, while the lower section utilizes a lightweight 5 mm housing with a PTFE liner to reduce friction and enhance routing flexibility.
While the Rev3 throttle is designed for specific model fitment, it is not model-specific, which may require some adjustments during installation. Users may need to reposition other control components, shorten the throttle tube and grip, or even install longer aftermarket handlebars to ensure proper fitment. It is crucial to have the installation performed by a qualified mechanic to guarantee safe operation, as improper installation could lead to serious injury.
